About Rebecca

I am a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

 

I gained my Psychology degree from the University of Plymouth in 2009 and my Masters degree in Sport Psychology from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2012.

 

I have been providing Sport Psychology support to individuals and groups since 2012 and achieved Chartered Status with the HCPC in 2017.

About Life-in-Sport

Life-in-Sport focuses on 3 key areas of Sport Psychology Support:

Positive Wellbeing

The foundation to the support process that ensures the athlete is comfortable, healthy and happy in their respective sport environment. 

Personal Development

Helping athletes appreciate that their journey in sport is unique. Using Life-skills and Growth Mindset approaches to appreciate your personal and sport development.

Performance Improvements

Encouraging athletes to focus on the processes required to perform their best and progress within sport. This is delivered through process focus strategies, reflective practice and goal setting techniques.

 

In addition to one-to-one athlete support, Life-in-Sport supports stakeholders involved in sport, from coaches to parents, National Governing Bodies and schools or academies who provide opportunities for young athletes.
