your LIFE... IN SPORT
with rebecca chidley
sport & exercise psychologist
I have found Rebecca to be a professional, dedicated and reliable member of the team who instantly had an impact on our Tier 4 National Age Group programmes.
Working methodically Rebecca integrated with both squads establishing strong relationships with the management groups and providing support to the players.
This required Rebecca to develop bespoke workshops and resources in line with our player development programme to ensure that there was a long term developmental focus retained.
These resources have been used extensively and continue to assist in our player development programmes.
Head of Performance
I have had the great privilege of working alongside Rebecca for 2 years in my role as Golf Union of Wales South East Academy Coach.
Rebecca was extremely adept at getting the best out of the players she has worked with. She was a vital part of the coaching set up and worked well with the players individually and in a group environment.
Her ability to deliver information in a fun relatable way was superb.
Rebecca has worked with table tennis since 2015 and in that time we have learnt and progressed with new ideas and essential work with our Elite players.
Table tennis is a very demanding sport mentally and the expertise Rebecca brings to the coaching team adds real value.
I have been very impressed, motivated and excited with her ideas. I have every faith we have a stronger programme through her guidance"
National Coaching Manager
TABLE TENNIS WALES
We are very happy with the support that Rebecca is providing at VGA. Rebecca interacts really well with the girls and ensures that the support is tailored for the age group.
She also provides information on all the work undertaken to ensure that the parents and coaches can reinforce the key messages from the sessions
